Dictionary Project

November, 2008                   

Members of the Kiwanis Club of East Lansing will distribute Dictionaries and Thesauruses to East Lansing elementary and middle school school students during the month of November. Students in the elementary schools will receive their own copy of a dictionary while students in the middle school will a copy of a thesaurus. This is the fifth consecutive year of this successful project.

Members are shown distributing copies of Thesaurus to McDonald Middle School 7th graders.

Schools that will be visited for the distribution is shown below.

This project is funded by the Kiwanis of East Lansing Foundation.

Annual Salvation Army Bell Ringing

The Kiwanis Club of East Lansing will support the Salvation Army bell ringers at Meridian Mall.

Annual Beekman Scout Holliday Party

December 15, 2008

The Kiwanis Club of East Lansing will hold its annual Christmas Party for the Beekman Scout troops.
