| Kiwanis as a family tradition!
“I joined Kiwanis to follow in the footsteps of my father, a member since 1948. I grew up with great memories of Christmas Tree Sales, Chicken BBQ's and other events to help raise funds for needy children in the community. I am now passing on this opportunity to my children to continue this worthy family tradition.” ~Rhonda Hodgkins

“I enjoy Kiwanis for the opportunity to meet, interact with and develop relationships with other community leaders, but most importantly to be involved with the many Kiwanis projects and scholarships that benefi the kids in our community.” ~Eric Rosekrans, CB Richard Elliis/Martin

“My first Kiwanis experience began in 1961 in the Detroit Area, where I eventually became president in 1971. My work at Michigan State took me away for 25 years, but in 1997 East Lansing became my second club. Now, as partially retired senior, I value Kiwanis' wideranging community service and friendship opportunities more that ever. Our commitment to the development and nurturance of children, young people and the developmentally disabled defines “service” in the very best sense imaginable.” ~Robert Ward, Professor Emeritus

“I look forward to our weekly meetings for the
fellowship with other members, the fun we have
together, all with the common goal of serving the
community in a variety of ways. I think we are
all proud to be
members of the
Kiwanis Club of
East Lansing. I
certainly am. I'm
glad for all the
friends I've made
and for the time
we have together
especially when working on special projects.” ~Mark Geojvian, Melting Moments Ice Cream
